Mar de Cristal is a small compact friendly town with three great beaches and a glorious promenade. Take a long walk along the promenade and enjoy the stunning views of the sea. The promenade is host to some of the finest restaurants and bars in the area. Mar de Cristal is also host to a good sized marina that adds to the charm and beauty of the surrounding area.

The Mar de Cristal beach is a perfect place for families to come and visit from La Torre Resort. The calm crystal clean waters are favourable as with the numerous services on offer to you at Mar de Cristal. Beach umbrellas and hammocks can be hired for a small fee. There are clean showers to use after renting numerous water vehicles that are ready for hire. With lifeguards present, your rest can be assured as the beaches and waters are viewed over.

Restaurants and bars at Mar de Cristal serve a large selection of great dishes, tapas, ice cream and drinks. Arena Cafe is a Deli café located right on the promenade at Mar de Cristal. Arena Cafe serves fabulous breakfasts, tapas, selection of beers and soft drinks and also ice-cream. Next door to the Arena Café you will find Piccolo Mare. This pleasant pizza restaurant is popular with numerous celebrities. The owner, Yolanda Ruiz is a well known Spanish fashion designer. Matt Damon, Javi Navarro are to name a few who have been entertained at this restaurant at Mar de Cristal.

The journey will take approximately 40 minutes.
Head southeast on the C-3319 heading towards Calle Laguna De Los adobes
After 18.3km you will need to merge onto the AP-7 motorway via the ramp to Los Alcázares / Cartagena
18km later take the exit 800 towards MU-312/La Manga
Keep right at the fork to continue towards MU-312
After 0.2 km keep left at the fork to continue towards MU-312 and merge onto
the MU-312
Continue for 13km and take exit 14 heading towards Los Belones / Mar de Cristal
Turn right toward F-34
After 32 m turn right at F-34 (signs for Mar de Cristal)
Continue straight ahead and at the roundabout, take the 1st exit
After 0.2 km turn left at Calle Puerto
Take the 2nd right onto Av Mar Menor
After 0.3 km turn left at Calle de la Solana
Finally take the 1st left onto Calle Esplandiú to arrive at Mar de Cristal.
