The lovely Costa Calida town of Los Alcazares is located by San Javier and Cartagena, surrounded by the warm tranquil waters of the Mar Menor. The fine award winning beaches attract holidaymakers from all over. During the hot summer months, the beaches play host to both holiday makers and local Spanish people themselves. This part of the coast is particularly loved due to the warm waters. With population increasing ten fold during the summer months, Los Alcazares presents approximately 7km of coastline playing host to glorious beaches and water sports.

Restaurante Tropical is situated 50 yards from the promenade in the centre of town, behind the town hall. The tropical restaurant serves up some of the greatest tapas with both indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the views from. For those who wish to indulge in English food you will be glad to know of The Pasty Shack and the Penny Farthing. Both are next door to one another in the Balneario Plaza. Sandwiches, savoury pastries, cakes, Chicken & Mushroom Pie, Fish & Chips and a variety of Roast Sunday lunches are all available including a wide range of traditional English puddings.

Los Alcazares is one of many beaches visited by guests at La Torre due to the fantastic beaches running along the coastline to The Mar Menor. At Los Alcazares you will find a wide variety of water sports available, the miles of sandy beaches and water makes sailing, scuba diving, jet skiing, windsurfing, kite surfing and fishing easily available all within the same area.

The journey will take approximately 20 minutes.
Head southeast on the C-3319 heading towards Calle Laguna De Los adobes
After 13km merge onto the AP-7 motorway via the ramp to Los Alcazares / Cartagena
Take marked exit 786 toward Los Alcazares (Norte)
At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Av de Cartagena heading to Los Alcazares (Norte)
You will soon come to another roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Calle de F-27
After 0.5km turn right to stay on Calle de F-27
In 15m take a slight left to stay on Calle de F-27
After 24m Turn left to stay on Calle de F-27
Finally after 5m turn right at Av de la Libertad and go through 2 roundabouts to reach Los Alcazares
